We need your support. Gilmanton’s Own, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicating to supporting local agriculture, farmers, and artisans. Although GOI deducts a small commission from sales at Gilmanton’s Own Market, that doesn’t come close to providing the funding we need for rent, equipment, furniture, promotions, insurance, licensing, and everything else it takes to support this venture. Up to this point the Market operates entirely through volunteer labor — and just about everyone who works in the Market has a “real job,” maybe kids, and other obligations. But we’re in this for the community.
To be viable, we will have to be able to hire people to work in the market, we have to be able to cover all expenses. Eventually, we want to acquire our own place to be able to do all the things we envision for this community.
Please consider helping through your financial support or your donation of equipment or other needs. . No amount is too small to count and make a difference. (And no amount is too big!)
